Our Children, Our Good Friday Play consists of fourteen scenes. Each scene has a moral message that can be applied to our daily life.


SCENE 1 : In the Beginning

The fulfillment of the Scripture with the Baptism of Jesus Christ by John the Baptist


SCENE 2 : The Marketplace

Foretelling of Jesus becoming the sacrificial Lamb for the remission of our sins


SCENE 3 : The Triumphal Entry

Welcoming of Jesus into the City of Jerusalem


SCENE 4 : The Anticipating Followers

Summation of the miracles performed by Jesus


SCENE 5 : The Last Supper

The last celebration of the Jewish feast of Passover with Jesus and His disciples


SCENE 6 : Garden of Gethsemane

Jesus' agony in the Garden of Gethsemane and His arrest.

(Do you know who your enemy is?)


SCENE 7 : Peter's Denial

Denial of knowledge of Jesus Christ by his disciple Peter

( Do you know when you are going to betray your friend?)


SCENE 8 : The Framing of Charges by the High Priest Caiaphas

(Framing of charges against Jesus by the Jewish high priests

(How to make sure innocent man cannot be sentence to death)


SCENE 9 : Pontius Pilate

The trial of Jesus before Roman Governor

(Are you capable of Judging an Innocent man ?)

SCENE 10 : The Journey to Golgotha

Jesus is made to carry the cross and making the journey to Golgotha -The Place of the skull

(Here Christ teaches to bear our own Cross and ask for God's guidance and help in our helplessness, unjust suffering, poverty and hopelessness. Jesus' Cross symbolizes our own journey with human misery but our awesome God is there to care of us creating hope when there is no hope for mankind.)


SCENE 11 :Jesus crucifixion

The crucifixion of Jesus and nailed to cross.

(The significance of this we don't need to give sacrifice. Christ is sacrificed for our redemption of sins. All we need ask for Grace of God and Grace is given freely)


SCENE 12 : The Seven Words on the Cross

(The Power of non-violence techniques and power peace demonstrated and application of Seven Words in our daily life activities)

First Word: Father, forgive them for they know not what they do. Luke 23:34

Second Word: “Verily, I say unto thee, Today thou shalt be with me in Paradise. Luke 23:43

Third Word: “Woman, behold thy son: Son behold thy Mother” John 19:26-27

Fourth Word: “I Thirst” John 19:28

Fifth Word “My God, My God why have you forsaken me? Mathew 27:46

Sixth Word “It is finished” John 19:30

Seventh Word: “Father, into thy hands I commit my spirit” Luke 23:46


SCENE 13 : The Resurrection

(Death is meaningless and we are saved by the Grace of God by our faith in Him.)



SCENE 14 : Conclusion

The Fulfillment of Prophecy

(There is a meaning and purpose for every thing on this Earth. Have you found your purpose on this Earth? Are you sharing your talents and wealth with others.)
